Who's the joker who tracked mud into your new ride? I've been a Vette guy since I was old enough to know.
-
I am savin up atm for some o' those C6 Z06 rims in chrome :)
Will be my first 'mod' .. rears are gonna be 18" x 11" if I can do the deed ..it really needs more traction .. already :)
-GE (I've read that 12" wide requires a widened tub kit available or fender flare )
-
Fender flares are gettin hard to come by I heard. I'd like to have 12's... my 17X11's spin all the way through 1st, 2nd and well into 3rd if I'm WOT. I am gonna get some DR's.. you?

My uncle was killed driving a dark green 1967 Corvette hard top convertable with a 427 under the hood...duel dominators and a 4 speed

Tuff to be consistent if the back tires spin.
The Summit Bracket Racing series should be a blast :)
I like the fact that NHRA makes the brackets a wide range now, instead of bein 1 second apart like they useda be.
I plan on runnin in the Pro bracket .. not much into electronic controls, rather do it myself ..and any mods I make I will still be in the Pro bracket :)

First time I ever draged race was there
It was 2 years ago, drove from L.A. just for that, it was with the Carcraft/Hotrod Anti Tour crew. Learned :how to" by Freiburger himself. Brings memories.:)

Yassir .. I remember the list of options havin to do with just how *fast* you wanted to go .. and not much else :)
"Oh .. you wanna listen to music? ..here, try the Side Exhaust option. If that aint music I don't know why yer lookin at this car sonny."
Dred .. have you driven a C5 (just curious) .. cause .. they're fast again .. and they corner so hard it hurts :) (and .. you can bolt on stuff to make 'em entirely capable of eatin them 427 '67's for a lite snack)

Mods.... ya baby! My C4 will chew that 67 427 into shredded pieces at the strip or on a road course. Wheeeeeee!
I sure love the way the c2's looked though.. awesome.
Pick a stock vette.. any year, any badge... get a glimpse of my tail lights diminishing in the distance. Hehehehe.

I love your new car Grayeagle!

GE, are the rims the first thing on the list?

Neighbor down the street growing up had the same Vette, but in Metallic Brown. He'd SMOKE (not just a chirp) the tires in all 4 gears. I've never a car do that to this date (but that vette).

I love Corvette's lines!
