1) When you log on, countries that have low numbers offer a bonus for signing up.
"50 perkies for being a Bish for one week."
2) Offer the use of a special plane for flying on the low numbered side.
"Brewster Buffalo is only available in Bishland"
3) When you log on, you are asked if you want to join a squad.
"squads forming in Bishland"
This last one would require at least one squad leader to be available to sign people on.

Everything but #3...
Cant tinker with squads too much, IMO.
Then again, I've never made a massive online flight sim.

#3 is kinda pointless these days.
#2 smells like @#$!
#1 looks like lemonade

oops meant to be in a post worth reading! :aok

#3 could be re-worded as "Squeakers join my squad!"

Actually suggestion #3 has some merit.

This is also a device for helping newbies learn the ropes. The learning curve is so step in AH we probably loose many more 2 weekers than we need to. Offering a squad affiliation accelerates learning the controls and how the game works.
We complain about HO'ers and vulchers and do nothing to help newbies learn ACM and tactics. Squads can do this. They can also help instill a sense of history and an appreciation for the planes and the pilots who flew them.
I wish we could poll the 2 weekers and see what they think about a squad that helps them integrate into the game.
