Title: Hit % vs objects in a GV
Post by: stickpig on December 30, 2006, 01:25:30 PM
Happen to be looking at my score and noticed I have 0% vs objects in a vehicle /boat.

I know I have destroyed twn building etc in a GV so what does that column mean?

Thanks

i think i remember correctly by saying that GVs have never had a hit% attributed to them.

the only way to register GV hit% is buy using rockets from a PT boat to hit buildings in town or on the field.

The funny thing is that I have something in that column on last tour.

I know it wasent from a PT (as I never have killed a building with a PT)

Looking back at other tours it is 0%

Wonder how I got something in that column last tour:confused:

anyway thanks for the info

Only Torpedos or rockets from a PT boad doing object damage register as hits for Vehicle vs Obj Hit%.  (note: enemy fleets are "objects")  You dont have to "kill" anything, all that needs to happen is that damage was scored.

Aside from torpedoes on task groups, shooting rockets on town buildings or airfield buildings near the shoreline will go to that value.

Thanks for the question and answer.  I thought mine was low because I could never hit anything :D
