Died yesterday when sondog and I were doing some H/H. Windows XP does not even recognize it. Have restarted my system and tried it on on other systems. No joy. :( Though one of the three lights do go on when I plug it into a USB port, but that is all. It is not even listed in the game controllers.
Have it in a box ready to ship back to CH unless someone has an idea.

Daddog, have you checked the cord for damage? Not just nicks and such, but for any odd bumps or not quite right areas. Also, if it is no longer under warranty you could open it up and see if a connector came loose. Other than that, there isn't much that can be done with the USB model. I don't think there is a reset like the joystick port version has, but you could try holding down the three front buttons while plugging it in.

Thank you.
The cord looks fine. I don't want to take it apart for fear of making matters worse.
To the credit of CH I returned a stick once that had some problem and they fixed it at no charge. It was "not" under warranty. I will hope for the same with the throttle. :) If not I don't mind paying a few $ for them to repair it.

Only one of the "mode" lights is ever on at any one time anyway.
With mine, when the PC is on the green one is on and when my PC is off the amber one is on. Green, Red and Amber are the alternate mode indicators when in actual use.
I guess you have made sure you are not sharing a port with other devices to check it is not a power supply problem?
If it's still not working either a connection is U/S (As suggested by Auger) or the chip may be a bad one. Either way you are best to let CH sort it out anyway unless you are happy to open up and test the leads.

When my pedals died I sent $50 to them to get repaired and shipping fees. I find out when I get it back 3-4 weeks later that the pedals are brand new. Good luck on your throttle, hope for that you get a new one as well. :aok
