Title: Missions Done Today By Lazer
Post by: Hoarach on December 31, 2006, 07:45:13 PM
Missions were fun seeing that I was bored with the hoarding going on.

Here is the location of 2 missions done to day by Lazer.  I was part of 2 of 3 as one of them my computer decided to freeze after I got booted.  The 1st mission had around 16 38s along with 8 or so.(When watching the film 3 file, its 52 mins because I forgot to turn off recording when went to eat dinner, it goes up to where my 38 dies to ack and then sits in tower.)  The last mission had 23 38s in that flight along with 10 or so 51s.

Here are links to pics of the films I took.

That's going to be a monster of a download.  You know that you can edit the films, right?  Why don't you go and cut out the unnecessary length?

Was on the receiving end of the first mission.  Two squaddies and myself heading over to attack the VB in Jugs.  Quite a surprise to see a relatively benign sky turn into 24 bad guys.

I wish people would do more of these types of missions in the MA instead of the suicide 110 and dive bombing Lanc missions.  It was almost like an FSO.  Had to have been one of the most efficient base seizures I've seen in a while as well...

Yea seemed to work pretty well.. Think we grabbed about 8 bases via the missions at least that's what someone said later. I only stayed around for 4 or 5 of them.

However later that night we grabbed up 3 V bases on the same map in about an hour and followed them up by an A shortly after. So was GG's for the Rooks for awhile yesterday.

I will say though Lazers missions we fun, but on Saturday someone put up a 262 mission to go strafe the field at an Island A base. Just as we got there we ran into a Bomber mission from one of the other chess pieces.

It was a a bunch of bombers too and we had like twelve 262's. Needless to say their mission didn't make it.  I'm sure it was quite the surpise for the other team to run into our little flock of 262's.. :D

(I'd really like to see the vid of that one if anyone has it)

But as a noob I find the missions to be pretty fun and good to learn from, so I hope they keep coming.

Those were some great missions! I was a 47 driver in 1 and a pony driver in the other and both ended in base capture. Lazer shure knows how to run a mission:aok

Those were alot of fun .

Lazer is a good leader , never a harsh word from him .

Very enjoyable memory he made for me of Year Years Eve 2006 .

I made 3 of those c47 runs and got a ditch each and every time .

spro<--- still a noob :rofl

Missions are great. I join pretty much every mission that comes up. Its great to be heading to your target with a bunch of friendlies, much more interesting than puttering along along, trying to catch up to the fight.

I'm looking forward to CT, hopefully the mission based play in that works really well :)

Still 2 weeks? lol.
