heres an old project of mine resurected from the scrap pile and close to being finished. a bit more details and highlights and weathering and it will be finished.
P-38J-5 42-67147 "Black Market Babe" of the 475th FG 432nd FS.
Flown by Lt Billy Gresham in Dobodura 1944.

Looks great Fester. Are the intake leading edges a seperate piece? No way to take the camo up to the leading edge?

LOL, guess I never noticed it before. With that in mind, my next question is, doesn't that look like a different color then neutral gray?
I wonder if it's yelllow? Look at the clear demarcation line on the left engine in particular. It looks to be a different color.
Not suggesting changing it though. It's a real work of art ya got their Fester. You do some great work :)

might be a bit lighter neutral grey i made the skin just a tad lighter grey on those intakes. i think this pic shows its not yellow though yellow would look cool :D
