The Canadian government did a detailed research program into the effects of drugs and alcohol on spiders, mostly on the what effects the drugs and booze would have on web making. It's actually quite fascinating how drugs effected not only the web making but also the social interaction of the spider.

I am glad that I gave up the weed years ago!: cuz I heard that smoking dat **** wuz gonna make me some crack spiders ***** someday and all I would do all day long is look at break.com and take it in my spider ass... didn't sound like the kind of life I wanted to lead! So I joined a monestary for low IQ wood spiders down here in the states... worked all my problems out and got me a fine lookin web under a prk bench where I met this crazy black widow ***** and....
