Title: ace high get illegal operation when starting.

whenever i start ace high, i get the window asking me what resolution/color i want. after clicking ok, i get illegal operation.

using latest directx and voodoo3 2000 on 500mhz, 256 rams. don't think that has anything to do with the problem, though.

if there's already a thread on this, sorry, just link me to there.

Tom, make sure you are running in 16bit color mode. If you try to run a Voodoo 3 in 32bit color mode it won't work, because the card won't run in that mode.

that's true, i forgotten about that. but don't think that was the problem. doesn't matter at any rate, its working now. i don't know what i did that fixed it. but thanks for the info there. appreciated it very much.
