wont this game be better if naval planes could fold their wings and/or let the pilot open his canopy
-
Folding wings no, but open canopys, HECK YES! I wish I could open my P-51D canopy in flight and just get some fresh air.
-
I'd love to have an opening canopy and the ability to further raise the seat for improved visibility in the F4Us (I think I was reading somewhere that seat had different height positions) when not in combat.
Folding wings really wouldn't serve much purpose, tho.
-
On the contrary, they would make taxiing on carrier decks vastly easier, especially with multiple aircraft.
-
Unless you're taxiing with enemy aircraft, you should be fine.

On the contrary, on my eight player server maximum realism settings are always used. That means friendly collisions, too.
-
I could take or leave folding wings, but definitely like the open canopy option. We can already adjust seat position, using the head movement keys and F-10 to save.

I don't see how. Seriously.
-
Anything that would make the virtual aircraft more like the real aircraft would make the simulator better.
-
yes
-
Of course, I would much prefer blower, mixture, and mandatory fuel selection. But that's not going to happen, sadly. This might, someday.
