yeah, but i thought from the pics I have seen on the construction this is "the structure"...
either way it is a creepy look into life there, scroll over about 2 miles east into the city and see the vegetation overrunning the streets. :O

I think I'll peddle my tricycle there... 35 ~ 50 rads can't be that bad.
I'll turn around when my eggs get poached...

They say the next Chernobyl is going to be Chernobyl when the roof finally caves in..

I was referring to this aircraft that's sitting on a barge.

Forget Chernobyl. Go grab yourself an atlas from a year or two ago and then look at the Aral Sea.
-
Quit confusing them Vudak, that's a desert not a sea.
-
how did u find that and is that in Chernobyl like where the factory is?
wtf is that a plane???? i mean that thing is freaking huge?????
that looks way bigger then the model plane u have there. like in comparison.
-
did some research if you want to see it type Soviet Ekranoplan 2 in youtube. this thing is freaking huUUUUUGGGGEEEEE. i wonder if its bigger then the spruce goose?
-
it's a Ekranoplan
here it is (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caspian_Sea_Monster)
it is bigger than spruce goose
-
Based on the planform, swept trailing edge of the wing and turbofan engines forward it's a Soviet Lun, a wing in ground effect (or Ekranoplan) transport. One was completed with six anti-ship cruise missile launchers on it's back, construction of the second was supposedly ended when the Soviet Union fell. 286 Tons, 242 feet long. Big but smaller than the Spruce Goose. The Lun was designed after the famous "Caspian Sea Monster" which was much larger at 550 tons and 330 ft. The sea monster is what's pictured in Raider's post.
Edit, I take some of that back, it's longer than the Goose, not sure about the weight. The sea monster is definently bigger.
