...is no longer for me. After almost a year of lone wolfin it, I am now looking for an experienced squad that flies cohesively and has a good time flying with each other. I fly mainly fighter sorties, but I am always up for an occasional bomber or gv. :aok
I fly mostly the British birds, some American (hog and f6f), and sometimes the Japanese a/c. I typically don't fly much from the German or Russian planeset.
If you feel inclined to check my scores before considering me, you probably would want to go back at least to last tour, as I flew my first sortie this tour literally today.
Cheers

If you want to come join us in Bishland look me or sicdog up. There's only 2 of us so far (just started the squad this weekend) and I don't plan on making this a huge squad but good fighter pilots are welcome.
I was/am a lone wolf too and so is/was my new squaddie. This squad is being put together for the lone-wolfs to gain an occasional wing man or to fly an occasional mission (things you don't get as a loner) without all the obligations and fuss of a bigger squad and without losing that lone-wolf mentality. Sort of a best of both worlds.
See my post in this forum for more information.

trotter, you'd be welcome to come and fly with 71 squadron if you like. i'm sure redtop or batfink might pop in here soonish to tell you a bit more, but basically, we'rea very laid back, fun squad, about 50 members, most of whom are very well known in the community, and decent pilots to boot.
mainly fighter, some guys spits, some guys fly jugs, ponies, hogs, hellkitties, everything. we really only do figter, as that's what we all like doing, but the occasional basetake is not unheard of.
we fly knights, channel 171, great bunch of guys, we have a great time together, usually 10+ people on each night, most of whom are very good sticks, including some famous names :)
yeah, jump on 171, fly with us for a bit, see how you like it :) if you're having a good time, we'll chuck you an invite :)

VMF-251 is recruiting. We fly Rooks, and our ride on official ops (Wednesdays for training/practice, with Sundays spent in one of the two LW arenas) is the F4U-1A.

I'm in the U.S. eastern timezone and fly whenever I get the spare time :) mostly afternoons or late night, some evenings.

It doesn't matter to me either way, I've flown them all and am currently on bish but I do not have a preference.

our squad members normally fly in Aussie and Kiwi timezones, which would make it about 3am your time.

if you haven't picked a squad yet, feel free to consider ours, Pigs On The Wing. See our post for further info.
We have folks on from East to West and there is usually about 3-5 of us on at any one time.
We fly for the Knights btw.
