I have the MS Sidewinder Pro II the throttle used to work fine, I think, but I notice now that there is no middle ground, it is full throttle or off. Have calibrated, havent added any new software - except maybe the map editor but I think I DLd that after this problem started? Anyone know what I may do? Also this stick, though not a twisty does have some rudder component in the stick, which makes gunning a real pain - I turn/bank in mid gun as I swivel. High Angle High Alt attacks are impossible for me to fend off as a result. Anythought on this ?

Hey
erm if the stick doesn't have a rudder it is not controlling the rudder in AH. If the stick does have rudder control; increase the deadbands, or buy pedals.
As for the throttle, does it test ok in the AH calibration? Is the stick USB?

I use the Sidewindwer Precision Pro II USB and it works perfectly for me.
All buttons and controls worked the first time I plugged it in.
I also use the Sidewinder control software to use the shift button on the stick to perform other actions, such as the new 6 call.
Is the stick detecting properly in Windows? Can you test and calibrate it properly in Windows? If so, does it test and calibrate in AH?
If it is working properly, but not doing some things in AH, it is possible that you have lost the mappings between the stick actions and the game movements in AH. You should be able to confirm these or remap any of them in the stick setup in AH if need be.
