Do any of you guys have a pedals throttle or a stick that uses gameport originally, but is modified to use USB through a plug in adapter?
Is it mixed with other simulator components, like a regular USB throttle/stick/pedals?
Does it operate well? I have searching for a better stick than my cyborg evo, and if I can get used ones but have to mix their interface type (gameport/USB) I might be willing, provided anyone might be able to let me know if it worked for them.
In addition I read on CH Products' website that gameport and USb devices will not work together (hence the adpter to try to solve the problem).

I have used the Gameport to USB adapters and they work fine except you may not get support for all the buttons you have if you have a lot.
CH Gameport and USB gear cannot be mixed in respect of the software they use. However they can often be mixed in AH because of the the mapping facilities in AH. Best to advise exactly what you have for specific advice.
Edit
PS I have also mixed Gameport and USB devices in AH so this really should not be a problem. Just be aware some Gameport pedals need a joystick plugged in to them even if you don't use it! - Its just to get the pedals recognised in Windows.

I got my gameport CH pedals plugged into a little USB converter. Just the pedals, nothing else. Works perfectly with the rest of my USB CH gear no worries - i dont use the CH control manager either, just AH2 mappings. Couldnt be happier.
