Title: New Patch

I can't get in. All I get is

Init. failed with -9
MainWLD_FAILED -1

That error indicates Aces High II cannot find its resources to start the game.

Typically this happens when the game has been moved to another folder, manually, or the game has been marked read-only and the patch fails.

I have no bombers with the last patch??

Haven't moved the game to another folder so I guess its the read only.

What do I do to correct this ?

Restored comp back to Friday, reloaded patch and  i got

C:\PROGRA~1\HTC\ACESHI\1~\ahfilm.exe

If you did a rollback to a restore point, you could end up with all manner of problems.

At this point I would re-install the game.  Save the 'settings' folder, but wipe out everything else.  Be sure to run the "Add/Remove Programs" ICON first.

Reloaded the game without deleting anything and everythings back to normal.

After I installed the patch yesterday (Jan. 11) the bar displaying radio messages has been in the middle of the screen instead of at the bottom.  How do I fix that?

Drag and drop it with left mouse click holding :)
