I love you so.
sang David Bowie on his 1974 hit single Rebel Rebel. Well i had the misfortune to catch the stale odour of a hot tramp warming himself up under the hand dryer in a london subway toilet. The stench was overpowering and i couldn't get away quick enough. I certainly wasn't going to sing his praises to the whole world.

I believe the tramp in  "hot tramp" that David bowie was referring to was a woman (or maybe in his case a guy) who sleeps around. back in the day that is what was referred to as a tramp. Sounds to me like you ran across a bum!

Maybe he should of just gotten it over with and put hte bum out of his misery.  Oh and I live in Humboldt County, there's a lot of bums here because of the overwhelmingly supportive local gov't.  funded social programs for these drains on society.

On another note the gender confusion was just a fad then, I saw an interview with bowie a couple years back where he said that was what it was.

I like Aladin Sane and Scary Monsters better though!

on topic there have been a few times where the S-Bahn pulls in and I think oh yay an empty car, during full rush hour traffic, and the oother cars are packed like sardines, and you go in the empty car and the stench of a bum, rotting flesh-crap-stale piss just makes you about throw up then and there.

So if he'd helped, he would have earned the right to complain about the stench? Sounds odd. If I were the hot tramp, I'd probably be more offended by the complaints of somebody I'd grown closer to, rather than those of a complete stranger in a toilet.
