I guess she's a TI at Lackland and decided she need more exposure?
:lol
so Gun, when's your photo shoot?
-
What a great looking babe. Thanks to her for sharing herself in photos. Hopefully the Air Force will survive somehow, even if it is a little weird for recruits to be able to see photos of their TI nekkid.
But actually, what's the harm? What would be wrong with anyone seeing anyone naked? Naked is the way we look beneath the garb we wear for protection and custom.
It's apparently okay with her husband and two kids.

I believe the UCMJ referres to this as conduct unbecoming a non-commisioned officer. also Predjudical to good order and conduct and it reflects badly on the others in service. The Military is held to a higher standard than civilians. She has to train new recruits, they are supposed to see her as an example, or a role model. As a leader she just blew it because now some of those guys will only be thinking of her layout. I dont think its a big issue for recruits, I dont think they have access to Playboy in the training areas, I could be wrong its been several years for me. But recruits aside, she still has all the other people she deals with on a daily basis, her subordinates, her supervisor, commander, other training instructors, other officers
Remember about 10 years ago? the Marine Pilot (Aviator) that posed for Playboy, I think she got discharged.
As a civilian I could care less what she does it's her body, but while she wears that uniform her body belongs to the Air Force

Yes and no. The military reflects guidance from its civilian government, e.g., the evolution of policy toward gays in the military. People don't lose their rights when they join the U.S. military, but they do gain additional requirements and limitations.
Playboy exists and prospers in exploiting sex and nudity for money. Naked people are not inherently sexy anymore than other animals are. But we've been conditioned for centuries that nakedness = sexual invitation.
Sex is much more about attitude than equipment. Playboy style nudity is near the top of what is generally socially acceptable in the United States.
She and her family apparently are smart enough to know the risk as they test the system. The Air Force wants to be fair and reflect what American society expects of it. The tidiest solution probably is to gracefully ease her out of the service.
If that happens, maybe she'll sue and try to change some of the military policy toward nudity.

She looks nice and all... but I expect that if she weren't in the military Playboy wouldn't have bothered.

Well, I think its kinda a double edged thing. Its sorta like the syndrome you get while yr at the gym and hurt yourself trying to impress some chic by benching 220. Think the new recruits will see plenty of that, but on the flip-side, she'll not have to worry about finding civilian employment after she's released.
-
If she had not identified herself as an Air Force NCO, used part of her uniform (dogtags at least) for the phot shoot. This violates the articles of the UCMJ. I would say her career is toast. I hope the photo shoot was worth the loss of her retirement and the bennies she had for her family.
-
does the air force still have more generals than they have air planes?
-
Here's the deal. I KNOW Michelle. I actually pushed a flight with her back in July. She's in a lot of trouble and I've basically been ordered not to talk about it.
Edit: You will not have to worry about her trainees as she will never be an active instructor again. The group took her hat and releived her of all her duties.

I've tried both of your slides links and all I get is what appears to be the home page.
What am I supposed to be seeing?
Mark

WTF was she thinking????
Wow.

Just a lot more pictures of her. Nothing x-rated or anything like that. For some reason, the BBS truncates the links and changes them. If you quote my post, you can see what the URL should be.
I don't what the solution is to fix it.

Try this
http://2084615424.slide.com/p/5/Playboy+Mansion+Photos?view=true
And this
http://2084615424.slide.com/p/5/Photo+by+Mikki+Chernoff?view=true
then click "View All Images"
Edit:
Weird, she actually looks alot better in person.
-
That worked.
She is a lovely lady. I don't understand why she decided to pose for Playboy magazine though. The money? Do they pay a lot for that sort of thing?
What is one's self repect worth nowadays?

I'll say it was less than $100K
-
She's definitely "Playboy" hot, but to think she could pose without clearing it thru channels is just stupid. I'm betting she's hoping on a modeling or acting career out of this.
-
Hehe... to think that this would ever have been "cleared" through channels.
Not likely.

§ 934, Article 134. General article. Includes offenses that are not specifically listed in the Manual for Courts-Martial and which may "cause disorder and neglect to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces, or conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces."[/i] Article 134 is often considered to be a "catch-all" for various offenses that aren't necessarily covered by the other articles in the UCMJ. Article 134 offenses include disloyal statements, unclean equipment, improper wear of military uniform, abuse of public animals, adultery, bigamy, bribery, fraternization, et al.

My point exactly.

Ya know... If I learned anything in the military, it was this:
It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.
;)
-
I learned if you want to do something, you better have a signed chit.
-
I really don't see the harm, but then there's a lot I don't understand about you people.

nope....not even close
maybe if she lands something out of this. I know Stern has contacted her, as well as leno.
-
If she really wanted to CYA on this she should have waited until her contract with the Air Force (EAOS) expired to avoid any possible repercussions. She obviously didn't give a flip about her military career.

of course not, you are norweigian.

Cadre gone wild?
-
Playboy used to pay about $50K to thier models for a shoot. I would imagine it is in the neighborhood of $75K now.
-
You gotta wonder how the Skuzzmeister knows the Playboy contract rate from back in the day?????
:aok
-
So then it's pretty safe to say folks won't be seeing Guns in Playgirl anytime soon?
Would have been difficult for me to concentrate with an instructor that looked like her.
-
Unless a lot has changed in the Air Force, the female TI's train the females only.

Yeah just dreaming is all...

Dreaming of being a female, or of being trained by one? :D

It all depends. CHina got well over a million for her spread, and paula jones or whichever Clintons stain was got 200,000.00. Although I could be wrong.
-
My bet is the Air Force isn't too upset about the posing, but wearing the uniform while doing it is a major no-no. She could have done a German sheisse movie and they wouldn't care as long as she wasn't in uniform.
-
Whitehawk, notice, I said the "model" price. Famous people will always command more. Famous people who have never exposed themselves really command more, especially if they sign the two year contract which provides Playboy an exclusive (i.e. they expose themselves in any shape, way, or form, in the next two years, they lose all thier money).
Playboy does regular shoots of normal people using various themes. Those folks get less than the model price. As this person could possibly stir up some controversy, but she is not famous, I could see Playboy forking over $60 to $90K, depending on the shots.
EDIT: Auger, there is a lot to what you say right there. She disrespected the uniform. I think she should be busted. Not booted out, but she should be an E1 about now and cleaning the base up for the next year or so.
-
Maybe she'll be busted to E1, then given a medal for the increasing Air Force recruiting? :D

Nope,
I currently have a female flight and female instructors push male flights all the time. I don't think this would be as bad as it is if she hadn't been an instructor. There's a certain amount of professionalism that comes with our job, we are held to a much higher standard than regular NCOs.
-
Maybe "Air Force Amy" is her role model.

I always wondered if I was really a lesbian in a man's body.

what a waste of a good recuriting tool(s)

I agree about the uniform thing. From all I have seen and been told, and warned about, if she was taking off civilian clothes, they wouldnt be so public about this. She would still get slammed pretty bad, but it wouldnt be this loud. But the fact that she disrespected a military uniform...
But the fact that she is an instructor helped it along. I have seen a fresh-recruit in uniform doing things even worse... (Yes they involved nudity, but suffice to say she wasnt the only person in the frame. No I dont intentionall watch this, but this particular computer was infected with some spyware thanks to my cousin and the pop-ups just wont got away:() and there has been nothing mentioned about her. And she was particularly famous, at least around here...
