Post by: wasq on January 13, 2007, 12:16:47 PM: How hard is it to get from Hannover to Frankfurt? Or more precisely Frankfurt Hahn airport which is quite a ways from Frankfurt as I understand it...

Anyway, all taxes included two way ticket from Frankfurt Hahn to Tampere would be 156 euros on Ryanair for 2 persons... From Tampere I can guarantee we have at least one car coming, as I live in Tampere. :)

Post by: wasq on March 22, 2007, 02:08:22 PM: Hm, I think Finland is nice, no big cities except for Helsinki area but lots of nice smaller cities and quite a bit of rural area. I may be biased as I live here, though.

109 RC planes are available from hobby shops, for example GWS makes a cheap easy styrofoam electric 109. However, I think the one you're referring to is not even a controlled plane, it just flies on with its battery until it hits the ground :)

What do you mean? Some are built, some are bought. They are those guys' private property.

I expect the trees will be further shaken after the event starts - "okay, taking off now, who's hidden my G key to raise the gear?" .. *bang* .. "damn those trees!" :)

Schedule updated, there's the SEA Event for Saturday night now. Slight changes are still likely to happen, but the schedule isn't meant to be read too seriously anyway - the SEA event and dinner are two things that should be participated in.

Lots of flying, drinking and fun with friends from all over Finland.

And as usual we started getting those fields captured only at Sunday morning when most of the people were sober enough... :aok
