Title: Detonator 7.78 rocks !

just downgraded from 10.80 to 7.78 and spent more than an hour on-line uninterrupted (except for frequent deaths) ...
with 12.41 AH crashed to the desktop and with 10.80 it froze the PC.

now using 7.78 with GeForce2 MX & AGP 4X, VIA 4-in-1 4.31 and DX8.0a running Win98SE ...

keeping fingers crossed ;-)

Goner, you and I have exactly the same system.

If you go to display properties and find the "Nvidea on the internet" button, you'll see a link to driver updates. These always work for me in AH and every thing else except for ground textures in RBII.

yep, that's exactly where i got those blasted 12.41 drivers that crashed AH to the desktop and hung WinDVD just when i was watching Memphis Belle !!
nVidia should put up drivers that are tested work with each windows-version instead of just putting up 1 version for all windows.

i got the 7.78 that is working from http://www.the-ctrl-alt-del.com/ (http://www.the-ctrl-alt-del.com/)

is your GeForce working with 12.41 in Win98SE ??
