Title: p-38j causes crash?

every time i try to up a p-38j the game crashes.

i have tried it several times and it continues unchanged.

do i have a setting wrong somewhere that i can fix or might this be a bug?

try emptying your cache and having it re-build...

I have heard of similar things with other planes

had a problem similar a while back with the  '110, ended up being corrupt sound file in a sound pack. I think all i had to do was delete the plane from the sound folder, and let the  game default back to original sound file.

tried deleting the sound.  didnt work.  

how do i empty the cache?

Delete the Cache folder in your install.

This will prompt the game to rebuild cache on next startup, so plana  few minutes on that.

none of the above solutions have worked.

is there anything else that i can try or am i looking at a reinstall here?

I just did an uninstall and reinstall a few days ago with no adverse affect.  All of my configurations, et cetera remained untouched.  And it only takes about thirty seconds on a not-too fast computer.

  I just had the same problem with mine after the last upgrade. Come to find out it was the Default gunsight that was the problem. once I changed to another type of gunsight, everyting worked out ok. Dunno if that is your problem, but it's worth a looksee. :)
