every time i try to up a p-38j the game crashes.
i have tried it several times and it continues unchanged.
do i have a setting wrong somewhere that i can fix or might this be a bug?
-
try emptying your cache and having it re-build...
I have heard of similar things with other planes
-
had a problem similar a while back with the '110, ended up being corrupt sound file in a sound pack. I think all i had to do was delete the plane from the sound folder, and let the game default back to original sound file.

tried deleting the sound. didnt work.
how do i empty the cache?
-
Delete the Cache folder in your install.
This will prompt the game to rebuild cache on next startup, so plana few minutes on that.

i'll give it a try. ty!

none of the above solutions have worked.
is there anything else that i can try or am i looking at a reinstall here?
-
I just did an uninstall and reinstall a few days ago with no adverse affect. All of my configurations, et cetera remained untouched. And it only takes about thirty seconds on a not-too fast computer.

JB88,
I just had the same problem with mine after the last upgrade. Come to find out it was the Default gunsight that was the problem. once I changed to another type of gunsight, everyting worked out ok. Dunno if that is your problem, but it's worth a looksee. :)
