Title: BSOD: Infamous blue screen in AH?
Post by: -raww- on March 12, 2000, 05:33:00 AM
Hiya's guys  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Having trouble getting this dang thing to run.  I installed, ran, played fine.  After quitting, when trying to re-launch I got a nasty ole-style blue screen.  Un-installed, then re-installed, flew once fine, now upon second try, again the blue screen.  Any ideas?

Make sure your video card can handle the color depth.  To be safe select 16m vice 32m.

What Mino said.  The Voodoo III won't handle 32 bit color and yet it acts like it can in the selector.  You're going to want to delete your video.cfg file from your settings directory and restart AH.  The video options menu will show, select 16 bit color and you should be fine.
