Thnx for the links. I found that the new intel chips seem to be better than the AMD. But the choices of motherboards for AMD seem more, and the reviews for the intel motherboards are not as good as the AMD motherboards. I can find AMD motherboards that will not have a bad review, with the intel boards there is always a 'but', some little problem.

If stability is your chief concern, you can't beat an Intel made motherboard, they have little in the way of features but I've never seen one have some of the odd compatibility issues (like the old AMD/Creativelabs thing).  But even if you go Intel you'll need to seek another brand for performance.  I'm an AMD guy myself, but I do have to tip my hat at Intel these days.  Well played Intel...well played.

If I were going for a system with great features, speed, and reliability, I would choose a Biostar board.  I was a hardcore Abit fan for years, then jumped the boat to Asus.  I took a chance on a Biostar...and I'll ne're change again.  I had a small insignificant issue (Corsair memory acting odd) and emailed Biostar.  Within a couple hours I had an email giving me a few step by step procedures to try and fix the problem, when that didn't work they sent me an edited BIOS to flash...a BIOS that gave me several new overclocking settings.  It ended up that one of my memory sticks was just going kaput...I later swapped it into several other systems and had the same issue.

Anyhow, Biostar is my choice.
