I've just added up the entire totals, I've got 2882 on this current incarnation (started using it tour 70, November of 2005, before that had different names. Also this is the longest time I've had the same gameID).

Many moons ago "someone" kept records like this (tracked all players) on another website... can't remember for the life of me who it was or if it's still available.  I'm sure a little search-tool investigation of the boards would produce something.

Career stats would be a neat feature.
I was looking back to when I started flying under SunKing.

I was a tiffie dweeb... and look at this. 63 tours later and I'm wearing the LW leather chap weraing Luftwaffle pile it... how times change.

A few days ago HTC moved the scorepages to a different location. Using the HTC website you don´t notice it, but Spatula´s Stats tool is now looking for the data at a wrong place. But I know Spatula is working on it, so we can expect a new version soon.

Yer, i was going to make the fix this weekend, but i was too busy at an airshow (ill post some pics of that soon). So ill work on it tonight, and there will be a working version up within the next 13 or so hours.

Made me go and look now too.  I kept it to 38s since they are my main ride and tied it to CorkyJr ID showing up at the same time the 38G showed up which is February 2005, so about 2 years.

It's clear I'm a dedicated 38G dweeb :)

Hi, Ive made a quick-fix to the issue the stats app had with the scores page host being moved. This version is 1.2.3

People who have already installed it, can download the patch files from:
http://www.my2cents.co.nz/AKUAG/Resources_Files/patch_to_123.zip

Ensure the app is NOT running. Then unzip those files to their installation directory - defaults to:
C:\Program Files\AKUAG\Aces High Pilot Stats\
and ensure you overwrite all files.
Restart the app. Voila you're off and runin...


BTW - The new version (1.2.3) is now the default version from the standard download page if you want to re-download it or uninstall then reinstall from fresh? But your better off just patching as per above.

It would seem the HTC's score pages are returning blank pages for tours 41 to 59 inclusive. The rest of the tours seem to return a page - even if you have no score it still is a empty score sheet. But tours 41 - 59 incl seem to a total blank. I assume you were still using 'Steve' handle back then - eg you havent done a name change around that time?

Granted the app could deal with that a little nicer, but it would seem the fault is not on my side of the fence.

I also get the error from tour 41 through 59.

Tour 28 through 40 as GooseAW, then 60 through present under GooseCH.

 17,587 kills not including those missing tours and basically not playing for the last 10 months.

Very cool tool Spatula! I like the graph feature.

EDIT: Just checked AH stats records and they are blank for the tours in question!......lost forever i guess. :(

May have to post in the bugs section to see if we can get the scores back for those tours.

Total kills (as fighter/attack/buff/vehicle) for me excluding Beta Tours and Tours 1-11 (scores not avail anymore); Tours 12-32 & 69-84:
3788 (2100 of them in a P51-D)

Mind you i only average 15 or so hours per month and fly in an odd timezone...

It would be really cool if they can get those other tours fixed! It just leaves a huge gap in the information available!

I spent a little time playing with the graphs for various categories. Really interesting if you break it down..sorties, hit percentage, deaths, etc.....and you can overlay them as well!

Really is worth a look gang!

I posted a new post in the technical support board about the missing tour data from the scores pages. I can't help but think this has something to do with the move? As i know those tours have producing results in the past.

Geeze Goose.... Thats a bit rough aint it.... Schatzi has to be one of the most helpful, patient and respectful ppl I have meet in AH...

Have seen her spend a good amount of her own time helping people in the TA, Saw her spend at least 30 minutes helping a single person once and all this was before she became a member of the Training Corps.

But I suppose your entitled to your opinion....

Not sure if it's the app or something on my end, but when I try to download data the dialog box only accepts the "from" tour, and grays out the "to" tour.

1st, I know shatzi is a very helpful member of the community.

2nd, I took it as partial sarcasm and reacted out of my disdain for those self righteous members that act like players who look at stats or scores are the scum of the earth and openly say so every time someone expresses joy about something they noticed in theirs.

3rd, I was serious but conciously over dramatic in my statement and am sorry that Schatzi bore the brunt of my feelings in #2 above.

lastly, I think with spatula's tool is a great way to look at trends in one's gameplay and improvement against one's previous tours and agree that it is terrible if we can't get ahold of the missing information. I am sorry if I helped degrade the value of this thread.

I really would love to see how many kills some of the other long timers have racked up! And other stats categories that have been racked up over the years. Let's get back to the meat of the thread!

No, its not a bug, its a 'feature'. I have deliberately disabled multi-tour loading from the public version of my app. This stops the app hammering HTC's hardware with a barrage of HTTP requests, and i dont want my tool being responsible for that as it could be used in a potentially malicious manner. Ive also taken steps to thwart anyone trying to get around that 'feature' as well.
So sorry if its a hassle having to load a tour at at time. At least you only have to load all your old tours once, then once per month thereafter.

I dont want to hijack this thread with a religious debate about the .NET framework etc. I know skuzzy isn't a fan of it and he has mentioned so in the past. Version 1.1 is more than likely installed on your computer as you read this anyways - its part of XP SP2. .NET isn't all evil from MS trying to whatever, its just a application runtime like Java. Check it out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.NET_Framework for some light reading and get informed. And if you really dont want the MS version of .NET you can always try the open-source version called Mono.

Sometimes where it's MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction) and both me and the guy I was shooting at go down (HOs or rams or collisions, etc) I will bail, give him a kill message, then he'll plow into the ground while I'm in the chute and he'll give me a kill message while I'm in the chute.

nice app.  I have a fair share of app dev experience in C# as well...if you are ever looking for some help extending this puppy or whatever...give me a holler.

Also...is there any way to get around the Squad restriction?  I am trying to find an 'easy' way to keep my squad's Roster/Stats page (http://www.jg44nighthawks.com/SquadRoster.html) updated once a month, and thought this might help instead of looking each guy up 1 at a time on the website.

Thanks casper. I will keep your offer in mind, but i suspect i wont need to do too much more work with it anyways.
As for the squad stuff, as ive previously mentioned the sqaud DL is neutered for the public release as i dont want the app misappropriated for DOS attacks against HTC. I could do a version where it allows squad DLs but only fires a request every minute or 1/2 min or something. It would make it better for you but it would mean you would have to wait a while for all the data - i will look into it.

for those wondering about missing tours.... look at tour 50?....

mine has over 500 kills, and 107hours playing time.... Id never played THAT much AH untill tour 80-83, so i dont know why this tour 50 is so different? maybe 2 or 3 months are in there?



oh and is there anyway to increase the size of the windows?
