Help?
I reformated my drive and reinstalled everything...  and now I get switched from UDP to TCP...  What have I screwed up....?????
Any Ideas?????

If you get switched to TCP upon logging in every time, its probably the Firewall setting. It only allows TCP for AH... need to open it for UDP as well. Dont forget to check router firewall as well (if you have one).

Rite that's the first plase I went... I turned off Mcafee Firewall...
I am using the same basic setup from before ...
In the same plug in the router and all...
The game seems to play ok.. But I know sumthin's not rite
I mean I am not livin or Dyin because I get booted and my score take a hit!!
I just can't figger it out   lol..
I hate it whan I can't fix somthing .... makes me nuttier than I am already  
Any more thought are welcomed

if your routor is on Auto  ip Addy  set up and you reformated ...your not an the same ip so you need to go into its settings and setup the current ip for your machine for 2000-6000 udp/tcp  bolth ways for AH .. this should fix ya exspecially if your getting the "NO-Ping " in the arena's list and getting the udp switch in the arena .

OK !!!
I tryed opening the ports as indicated....  BOOTED TO TCP no change
I tryed setting my routers to DMZ's    ...... BOOTED TO TCP no change!!!

OK I set my router to a DMZ same thing..
I get booted to TCP after about 2 mins in game....
I reformated my HD and did a total reinstall ....
I had no UDP problems before....
Come on guys what am I not seeing here....
I gotta be missing something stupid...
