Hi Guys,
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I am curious to know an answer. I run alot of NOE missions at bases that sometimes have their radar up.
I have just a few questions that I am hoping to get the definitive answer on, cuase it seems lots of people have different opinions.
1. At what altitude will you show up as a blip when in the dar circle is active. (from enemy's perspective)
2. At what altitude (say if a enemy base radar is destroyed) will a group of players start affecting a 'dar bar'
3. Relating to question 1, is the altude that you show up as a blip, an above sea level, or above ground level thing. Say you are NOE, approaching a higher base, but well above 300' sea level altitude. (most seem to say 300' is the dar blip altitude)
Anyway, if anyone knows or has a posting that you could refer me to I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

500 ft Above Ground Level

501 ft Above Ground Level

Above Ground Level.
I have followed a mountain ridge lines at altitudes of 5000 ft plus, but as long as I remain within the 500 ft above the ground level below me, they can not see my dot.
