and couldn't help but think, ya know, an enterprising person could write up a legal document authorizing the Treasury to write them a blank check and slip that into the President as he's signing all those autographs.
Wouldn't ever happen, but funny to think about.

When we saw that, I told my friend that's how enterprising lawmakers get their bills signed. Surprise!
BTW, dang, john9001, you've got a spectacular record here with missing 'teh jox0rs'. You know Cheerios aren't donut seeds too, right?

Those weren't autographs.
They were "signing statements" so he can ignore everything he just got done talking about, if he choses to do so.

Actually I saw this too. However, I noticed the camera zoom in on the President's hand as he was signing and I noticed he signed Best Wishes, Ace Frehley. Not sure this is gonna pass through the Treasury without scrutiny.
