Every time someone suggests adding an early war aircraft we get the same predictable responses from a lot of regular posters. They go on and on explaining what an easy target it would be, and why they wouldn’t fly it… And since THEY wouldn’t fly it… It should not be added!
Since the concept of players wanting to fly an un-uber plane is foreign to them, why not add an "Uber-Only" plane arena? A place where they can choose only LA7s, Nikis, and Tempest. That way they are not forced to see other players enjoying themselves in the old crates.

Well THERE goes a significant portion of the arena population.
Then again, would that really be a BAD thing...?

I thought we had that! I thought it was called the LW arena! I love the flying the Hurricane Mk 1, so dont get me wrong here. If you like Early war planes, go and fly in the EWA. Or fly in a Early war plane in LW and show them that its a match! Ive got lots of kills in the LW with a HMK1! Its brilliant fun!

I know every one wants something from 1945 because they think it well rock. I want some french planes. I want something slow, sucks at turning and has a crappy gun package, and I just want to PwN a Lgay7 with it. In my time of about 6 years in AH, I have not yet seen a single early, early war plane be introduced to AH. I have seen mid to late war planes like the Ki84, Spit16, P38G/J, B-24J, Spit8, 109G-14, 109K, F4U-1A, and P47N. When I'm talking early war I'm talking about 1939-41. I don't see any from that time period. HTC I think its time to add a couple early war fighters for us that love the early war. I think Late war has gotten enough right now. I think though now HTC should do one late war one mid war, then one early war fighter each time they remodel.

I wish they'd put the 1A into Mid War like it should be (there's some 190s that came in later than the 1A that are. So what gives?)

I've been having a lot of luck against these guys lately in the LW arenas flying a Spit V. Shhhh...
