I don't remember this one from the theaters but WOW what a good movie. Not your typical action shootem up themes....but just a good movie.

I just watched it last week and I completely agree. Amen!;)

I also ran across a great movie last night, Suicide Kings (http://imdb.com/title/tt0120241/) . How did I miss this one?

"Dectective Dolly's name is actually short for Dollapoppaskalious"
Try saying that one time real fast, or even real slow. ;)

I showed that one to my son. He quickly decided that it was the best movie he had ever seen.
Then I showed him "Green Street Hooligans."
You know the rest of this story. :)

Great movie. Makes me feel like Riverdancin'.

"We could kill EVERYBODY!"
Great movie.

It's a shame about the director though.
-
Guns, the reason you never heard of it in theaters was that it was a violent indie movie trying to find a studio right after Columbine. Nobody would pick it up.

Don't think Suicide Kings or Boondock Saints had a nation wide release when they came out in the later part of the '90s. Both great films and William Dafoe and Christopher Walken were excellent. Dennis Leary wasn't so bad either.

saints was a great movie... I bought it after renting it when it first came out on video.
the deleted scenes and extras are very good too. MY girlfriend bought me a T shirt with the saints family prayer on the front of it. I have watched the movie 3 times at least... something I seldom do.

How many times was the F-bomb dropped in that movie? :)

This movie is great.
Could have been a little better if they had more money to due the missing "dream" scenes. Would have felt more complete.

Christopher Walken was outstanding!! That role was tailor made for him.
I'm not sure if that was my favorite role I've seen Willem Dafoe play or not. But it's definitely in the running with Cole, Virgil Cole.
