Title: 2007 Daylight Savings Time changes

For US and Canada. I like this change. Means we get more daylight earlier and later than usual.

Beginning in 2007, Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. will be extended by one month, starting three weeks earlier than it did last year, on March 11, and ending one week later than it did last year, on November 4. This change is an energy-saving measure authorized by the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005 which was designed to provide tax incentives, loan guarantees, and other provisions for the development of energy-conservation projects. The new energy policy is expected to result in reduced energy consumption nationwide.

It also means that kids in the north will be going to school in the dark another week

May as well just get rid of standard time altogether.

The daylight was always there before the change.

Stupid thing, daylight saving. Archaic really. It should be gotten rid of.
