So... I've been browsing through Google Reader, I have a CNN feed. Isiah Washington and Grey's Anatomy keeps coming up as some "huge controversy." No real details about the "anti-gay" slur that Washington apparently used so I went digging.

He called a fellow actor a studmuffingot.

Yes... a studmuffingot. Nevermind that the accused studmuffingot is indeed a studmuffingot... er I mean homosexual.

Now, Washington is in rehab for "psychological evaluation" and "studmuffingot" is a dirty word.

Is it ok to call someone the "N-word" if they are indeed black?  The rehab part seems a bit much, but you seem shocked that someone would find 'studmuffingot' offensive.

Its a disgusting and hurtful thing to call someone a studmuffingot and it should never happen.  The guy on greys anomoly should be injected with a serious dose of love.

people sure are touchy about the topic, aren't they?

i remember one time me and my brother were riding in the front seat of the car going down the road, driven by our grandma.  we were in the ten year old range.  my brother elbowed me in the side and pointed out the  window as we passed a store that had a big sign plastered on the front of the store:   HOMO MILK

 my grandma asked why we were laughing, but we were too embarassed to tell her.

who cares what minorities think.  I sure don't and I'm a spic.  people sure are stupid.  the problem is that you can't go around beating the crap out of annoying people any more.  if you call me a spic to my face you get to visit your dentist and I get to go to jail, or I get to visit my dentist and you get to jail but either way you're getting poked.
