This plane flies great and the forward firepower is awesome. It must be made out of paper, though. Was the real A 20 that easy to shoot down?
-
it depended on the kind of enemy plane....cannon, mg, etc.
i do not think it was modeled exactly right in the game....it could take a big punch and still fly

When fly the A-20, my wings always are 1st things to leave. I think its just where rounds hit your plane.
-
A20 is plenty tough, just stay out of their guns :)
You do have to be a bit careful with high speed high Gee maneuvers. As its not too hard to rip wings off. But thats more about not jerking the stick than anything.

While flying a 109 I have gotten an A-20 to explode by putting TWO (2) 7mm rounds into its port engine. Instant death. From any angle and any light round, this plane will "pop" the pilot. It's messed up.

Krusty if you wish to test this let me know.
I am willing to go to the da roll film and submit it to HT. If things look weird.

I have (had?) an old film somewhere. I had many films. Folks that fly it have noticed it before. Odd hits that land nowhere near the pilot end up in instant death, as if the pilot were killed.
I had set up an "early war" 8-player room and was playing a 109E and a boston III alternately, and when I was the 109E the Boston died no matter where it was hit, and when I was the Boston I popped mysteriously so many times I quit. This has been around forever. I recall many many threads on the matter over years and years of reading thsi forum. I don't think it needs testing. Most folks know about it (like the missing-flaps-aren't-gone thing, most already know about it)

Can't hurt to redo a film post in bugs and submit it to HTC.
Who knows might work this time.
Offer still stands. Just gimme a holler.

Krusty said he put two 7mm rounds in the port engine and it was instant death. This sounds alot like when fly the A-20, a 1/2 second burst to my port wing root usually rolls me over and noses me down into the Earth, inverted.
