Title: Good days and bad days
Post by: FX1 on January 26, 2007, 12:29:26 PM: We all have good days and bad. Last night for me was a good day. I played for around 2 hours yesterday after work and couldn't go wrong. You know that feeling when you have the confidence to jump into a furball get 4 fast kills and live almost every time. Its a great feeling to fly around knowing that your acm and gunnery is at its best. I died almost every run but my heart was pumping and that i had some great fights to the end.

But when it goes bad for me its really bad. I get vulched by the only cons in the air. Our you get picked almost every time you up before you can get one kill.

Its has taken me a long time to feel like i am at the top of my game in main. Last night is why i play this game.

krusty, you know a golf course that only charges $15.00 a month for green fees and lets you play whenever you want? 24 hours a day?

Yeah, that is true, but the green fees and the fact that a good set of golf clubs costs about as much as a well produced brick of most illegal drugs makes the $14.99 we pay per month kind of pale in comparison...

i might have a few good sorties, 15 kills in an f4u furballing on deck and land 'em etc, but it never goes my way for an entire day :lol

That's the best way to play IMO. I don't worry too much about landing my kills, I always fight till I'm out of ammo, fuel or get shot down.

It's no fun unless you are out numbered. :D

Post by: lagger86 on January 27, 2007, 07:10:14 AM: I have more bad days than good ones, I enjoy those occasional scrums that become 1on1's and I get that "feeling" that you get from a good fight...I lose more often than I win, but as long as I make a better stick work a little harder to kill me, it's fun fun fun. I'm starting to get better, but I know I have much to learn still. On my bad days, I wanna destroy my computer and go watch hockey and eat nachos.
