There have been several threads in regards to recent finds of LW artifacts in Berlin, in which I have offered as much information as possible, particularly in regards to the 2 Jumo 213 engines discovered, both of which were purchased by the gang at the White 1 foundation. Here is a recently posted picture from White 1 of one of the Jumo's after preliminary cleaning.
Pretty dang good shape for sitting the ground for 60 years. White 1 hopes to use this engine as the powerplant for their future 190 "Dora" project which will be finished out in the famous JV44 color scheme.
Thought I would share.

I'd hate to see "bad" shape!

Other than aluminum oxidation, the gents at White 1 say both Jumo's are in amazingly good condition.

I've been to the museum and am a contributor the engines are in remarkably good shape. the magnesium parts will need to be re cast but they are in good enough shape to use them to fabricate the molds.
