It's a contraction of "were not". The word is slightly dodgier than "wasn't" but it's in the OED (http://www.askoxford.com/results/?view=dict&field-12668446=weren%27t&branch=13842570&textsearchtype=exact&sortorder=score%2Cname) . Neither the BBC nor the Daily Telegraph use it outside quotations or editorial pieces, but it's acceptable informal English. This is not the place to mock people for their poor grasp of the Queen's own.

Problem is Apeking, that most here can only "speek amuricun"

The Queens own English is "fer forunahs" ;)

Also, the ".showB29" command works for me, but I keep getting a CTD when I try to use the ".NOOOOOK!" command.

So I know there's a clue in that little pic SOMEWHERE that proves it's a faked image. It's just a small enough image that wherever it is I can't find it.

I'll believe this one when the Hand of God comes down and smites Twin Boom for prematurely revealing HT wasn't serious about the whole "The B-29 will not be added. Period." post on Aircraft and Vehicles a month or so ago. :D

Or at least until I see some corroborating evidence that this time it IS, in fact, legitimate.

first off the prop arcs are too black for aceshigh.

second off the ground looks like its from one of the flight sim 2000 or beyond.

finally, twinboom is not to be trusted.
