Title: Tracers

It would be nice to be able to toggle tracers on or off without having to set it in preferences.I'm not asking to be able to toggle them during a sortie just a simple keystroke command to toggle them on or off at the start of a sortie.
   I like to use them in GV's but I'm always forgetting to turn off again when I hop into a plane.Being able to switch with a keystroke would help......

or have options to make some guns have tracers and some not. Make each gun/gun type have an option, rather than one blanket cover-all option - eg in a 109K4 make the 30mm can have no tracers, but be able to set the 13mms with tracers etc.
I prefer tracers off, but it would be nice having a bank of MGs with tracers on for scaring people etc, while the cannons are tracers off for the killing part.

Tracers are a part of the weapon load out -before you take off-.  You don't want tracers, turn them off before you jump into your plane in preferences.

It's not a light you can turn on and off at will.  Individual load outs would be nice but complicated probably.

I'd like to be able to set preferences for different planes.  Tracers off for flying a p-51 and on for gunning a bomber, for instance.

How about adding it as part of the weapons loadout.  So, for example, on an F4F, instead of just a 4 gun and 6 gun option, there would be 2 4 gun options (with and without tracers) and 2 6 gun options.

This way, tracers are a preference with the plane and not a flight option.

It sucks that GV's cant turn tracers off anymore:(

I always keep my tracers turned off, adds a level of difficulity :)
