Anyone used these sights before?  think about picking up a set, but am looking for a personal recommendation from one of the firearm experts that frequent this board....

You can't hit a guy at less than 10 feet without using sights you aren't practicing enough.

That said...turn yo gun sideways like all the homeys do.

Looks interesting.. I shoot ipsc for some time and have spent X amount of dollars on sights. It looks like its a big sight but i wouldnt purchase one before i had one in my hand to see if it fits my shooting style.

Looks a lot like a gimmick to me. Never tried it, have no interest. The closest to "trick" I get is trijicon or meprolite 3 dot sights. The next one will probably be a single dot on the front sight only.

Dawson sights have been great on all my guns.

C-More is the best way to go for a fun gun..

Don't think you're gonna see many thugs brandishing kukri knives :lol

Steyr has been making handguns with trapezoid sights similar to these for a while now. Supposedly Steyr's sights are great for acquisition and accuracy, once you get used to using them.

These are pretty much the same concept, albeit a lot brighter, so they would probably make pretty good sights on a home defense handgun.

It's all about what works for you.  Try it first, don't buy it first.  See if you like it, if you can work with it.  Then go.

I personally plan on putting some illumination dots on my Pt99 sights soon.  I can barely see the white dots on them in day time.

Yep , you could turn sideways, close your eyes, screw up your face, stick a finger in your ear , balance on one leg and whistle dixie....when you pulled the trigger, the perp would be hit.
At that range, the question isnt "Can I hit him?", but "Can I hit him before he sticks that bloody great faffing knife in my ribs?"
The sights being of a far lesser importance than the number of rounds left in the mag,  their individual knockdown power and how fast you can fire them off.
Centre of seen body mass just about fills the entire field of view.

They look awefully bulky, the front more than the rear.  I can't say that I would like that too much at all.
