Title: My gamma setting is stuck.......?

Hi guys, I hope you all can help me.  Since the last game update, whenever I start aces high the gamma is set at I believe 1.0 which is very dark on my computer screen.  After I set it to a higher setting the gamma will revert to the dark setting when I log off and even though the setting will hold while I'm logged on,  closing and opening the clipboard will make the slider move back to the 1.0 position even though the display is above that.  Also.... sometimes the game will freeze up when I move the slider after the game starts.  I've never had this happen before and hopefully someone can tell me what's going on..........:)  Thanks in advance.

by the way I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and that didn't help.

I tried deleting the video8.cfg file they talked about in another thread and it worked!    :) yay
