Title: GFMX 12.41.... new install AH1.08.1 click on hanger etc crash to desktop

I just installed 1.08.1 and whenever I click on hanger, I get a crash to desktop.

I have a GFMX dx8 and 12.41 detonators.

Any ideas? It happens when I click with the mouse.

I sometimes get a CTD when I change base/aircraft then try to go to runway since I downloaded 1.08. Happens on two different computers.

I use 21.81 drivers, with a GF2 MX
Latest drivers for SBLive!, Dx8a and win98se
And have nooo probs whatsoever with 1.08

Well some of us here like our nostalgic, olde rope pull startup computer rigs. That's why we fly small planes with large fans in front....kinda ironic that you have to have the latest equip't to fly those olden planes...oh well on to the computer store...  :rolleyes:   ;)

Well at least my sound still works. I guess I'll just sit in the tower, drink a beer and listen to the other guyz playing....ha (laugh of despair)..

Ok, I installed the new 21.81 drivers. No Joy.

I can fly by clicking fly and dot commands to change planes.... but as soon as I click on hanger it CTD.

Also, when I shot down a drone.... i saw it fall apart then instant CTD!

Any ideas??

Check sound drivers Brendo


and reinstall dx8a

U can also try reducing sound acceleration
COntrol panel, multimedia, advanced properties, performance tab, move slider left 1-2 notches and test.
