Ok, while trying to find an ISP with a less obtrusive posterior intrusion...

If you start the game, go online to the arena list, then bring up ping details, then just sit for a few minutes (under 5), the game goes whitescreen, then get the "An error has occurred..." dialog.

My system is an Opty 165 + GF7800GT + Win XP SP2 + Forceware 93.71

For the 7800GT i have ive tested almost every WHQL Nvidia driver out there and 81.98 tests the best and is ROCK solid . The 9X.XX driver series hasnt been kind to my 7800GT causing constant repeatable crashes. Just a heads up .   38

Yes, those 9x.xx drivers are terrible.

Vid drivers asside, I'd be curious if it happens or not on other boxen.  It is not infrequent that silly stuff like this is actually a real bug that causes mysterious crashes under more normal circumstances.

Did the same on my computer, white screen and MS error when waiting on the 'ping details' of the TA.
I was watching and it happened right after the 256th ping. My unedjumicated view is the ping buffer only goes up to 256. One bit more and it overflows causing the error.
