 1 day more and i would have started doing the same one, just that profile i found shows a bit "lighter black" version.

No idea if this is accurate, but this Corgi model shows the identification markings are placed a little differently to yours:

Corgi have little to know quality assurance working with them. They regularly have inaccurate paint schemes, paint colors, and even markings placements. I woulnd't use them as a reference.

Heres some pics of the Black Spit -

1) Looks darker than in the profile.
2) No yellow on the leading edge like the profile has.
3) Does look like I need to move the code aft of the roundel upwards though.

Color I used is called NIVO, dark but not quite black.

Mark Styling is a good place to get ideas, but he's off on details sometimes. I've used his website for 109 inpsiration for a while. Never bothered looking at his spitfires :P
