It is really complex... "American Football"

I get the rough idea, i have a friend that plays it and i have spent some time in the states.  I might even go and watch it - will be an excuse to check out the new Wembley stadium (and for that reason alone the game will probably be a sell out - certainly wont get tickets to the real football games there.  So it is a good time to launch NFL in europe with a guaranteed massive crowd).

Have'nt they done this several times before? What happened to NFL Europe? Did the league fold?

NFL Europe is a separate league i think.  I don't know but i hear that it is big in Germany, dont know if we even have any teams in this country.

This is an actual NFL game being played in London.

I know. It has been done several times before, usually as a preseason game. They have played in Mexico City and Tokyo, too. NFL Europe is a direct offspring of the NFL. They were/are using it as a farm league.
