Title: New pilot
Post by: Tsnow on February 03, 2007, 04:02:04 AM
Hi!

I've been playing now for a handful of days and having a blast.
I want to thank all the trainers and Vet pilots (Rowdy1 in
particular) that have gone out of there way to help a rookie like me.

I'm using a Saitek 290 pro and it's a good stick, but I'd like to not
have to keep reachin for the keyboard.
I've seen the X52 and 45 and the thrustmaster and they all seam to be
made for a right handed person.
Are there any sticks, with a throttle and a few extra buttons, that could be
used by a left handed pilot?

Thanks in advance to any and all advice.

Take a look at saitek's Aviator TSnow, I don't think its as hand biased as the others. Partly it depends on what you want. Personally I only map 3 buttons on my 8 button sidewinder. After all, my hands are on the keyboard constantly to type anyway(motor mouth), so why map buttons? But thats just my style.

A ch Yoke may be another choice to think about.
