do you have a AGP slot ??

its that lime green looking slot on that mb pic ....

the ti4200 aint much of a card but it maybe better then the onboard intel stuff you got going on now.

I did a quick google but didnt see a agp slot listed for the 3000 series dell

you should double check though ... just in case

So..with that prob solved....Any recomadations on a vid card?
I am on a tight budget and am looking in the $100.00Canadian  range.
new/used dont matter, just looking for something better then what I'm running now.

Thanks

Id gut the dell and buy a cheap AGP Motherboard / cpu combo that will work with your existing ram (hopefully DDR) . Might not be as expensive or hard as you'd think . Or if you want to keep the cpu you already have , find a Mboard that will except both the cpu and ram that has an agp slot .           later 38

Looks like your ram is DDR , i'd pull the cover and make sure thou it should say pc2700 or pc3200 somewhere on the ram itself .

Here are a bunch of boards that will take your cpu and ram , then you'll be able to use that video card .
