HOLE HELL it is BUTT cold out! we've had a "mild" winter for a while now, sort of typical, the lake (Lake Michigan) keeps temps kind of stable really close (within 20 miles) and it hasn't been terrible...
until today
I went out to the garage to get a pack of smokes I left in the car, and take out some garbage. I sneezed.
before I made it back inside I had frozen snot on my upper lip :furious

You know, sometimes its tough to keep up on you members, and your locations, especially when you decide to use your location as a cute little quip about yourself.....
With that said, WTFDYL? (Where do you live?)

It is -7 in Minneapolis right now, and it was -13 when I got up this morning. Zero would feel warm. ;)

Agreed, but it was 25 earlier and according to weather channel, felt like 15.

Why many of us prefer the term "climate change".

I'm an Edina boy (dago will know what I mean) living in AZ. It was 72 here today. I took the vette for a spin w/ the top off. Perfect vette weather... no twisties but I did let it unwind out behind the White Tanks. Top end is not as fast since I changed to 373's but it was still a flawless ride.

It's Planetaral Tempural Enhanced...

AZ is a great winter destination, but the summers prevent me from ever consider moving there.

Currently it is -1 here. (-19, I think, if you like metric)
Tommorrow's high: a balmy 6 degrees Fahrenheit. Might have to break out the grill.
-
Current Temp: -11F
Windchill: -29F
Forecast low: -19F
Forecast Windchill: -34F to -39F
And lucky me is at work (and taking a break, hence being online). So far I haven't had to get out of the car a whole lot so hopefully the rest of the night is quiet too.

I think it is being caused by Planetary Environmental Termperature Adjustments. They want more land mass for the seals, penguins, and polar bears.

-10 this morning
Glad I don't have to go out in it till Monday morning :)
-
27F right now. :)
-
I think it's a deal between the Benevolent UnderSea Habitants and the oil companies to melt ice and raise the sea level. In return for the additional living space, BUSH will help the oil companies drill out in previously protected waters.
So you see, it actually is easy to blame BUSH.

- 13 with wind chill to -30 over the evening in Minnesota, when it hits positive digits we'll be walking around in t-shirts and shorts.

Yeah you're right because global warming causes instability i.e. extreme weather on both endpoints. Colds will be colder and hots hotter. The mellow area which we're used to will become more rare.
-
It's important to know that global warming causes both weather instabillity and stabillity. It can cause an increase in average temperature or a decrease in average temperature. It can cause a increase in precipitation or a decrease in precipation.
It kinda reminds me of the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" where the father takes a word and breaks it down to show it iriginated from the Greek language:
"Give me any weather pattern... any weather pattern at all and I'll show you how it's related to global warming."
