Hiya Fd-ski,
The screen lock-up when connection is lost is a bug, will be fixed soon apparently. However, I think you're experiencing something else.
We just had a big pow-wow session on Roger Wilco the other night within our squad. It was determined that while running RW with AH, and having only 64 meg. ram, was the bare min. of ram one would want to have. I had this problem too you describe...I laid down $75 for another 64 megs. and haven't had any lock-ups or freezes since.
Now, I'm not saying this will solve your problem, but "Tonto" is experiencing the same prob. I had, he also has 64 mg. ram.
Our resident expert (forget who it was, we have 48 members in our squad and alot are new) said that 64 would be the min. for any multi-tasking in his opinion.
One thing to check if you haven't already, is to have your virtual memory checked to where you control it, and double the number for MIN/MAX that you have for memory.
Good luck!
