Just wondering.
-
Because HiTech doesn't like you.
ack-ack
-
DANGIT!!! Hitech said that if we could go for 10 days without anybody asking, we'd get it next update, but if we couldn't keep quiet we'd never get it! This was DAY 9!!!
Thanks a LOT, man!! :furious :furious :furious

its 14 days not 10.. get it straight!

I beleive when the game was in it's infancy it was decided to come up with a "different" two engined bomber than the B-25. Seems like at the time everyone had a B-25, noone had the B-26. In fact, I remember thinking the B-26 would be the one to have vrs the B-25. Pyro agreed with that so we got the B-26. I'm not saying that I had anything to do with it, Pyro and I just happened to think the same thing at the same time.
I would like to see the B-25 but it is slower than the B-26 and not near as sexy ;)

I'd rather have an A-26 than a B-25, although both would be nice.

I think that applies to several choices made in the first generation of aircraft, like having the G-10, which was K-4 data (WB had a K-4) but with 20mm, gondolas, and rockets, to simulate the G-10 options.
I think there are a handful that were chosen "just to be different".

While I can respect that, since HTC has made "those other games" look like a bunch of mooks, maybe it's time to add a few "bbs dork favorites" despite the fact that they were used in now defunct games. Like, as an example, the B-25, the P-39, the SeaHurri, the A-26, or anything else that I personally would like to have.

Just guessing but for WarBirds Pyro and HT had created the B-25 so it might have been to avoid potential issues with WB.
BTW- having multiple Tango's is now getting a bit confusing!!!

B-25 IS WWII or did you possibly read it wrong?
Mark

i think ball was thinking....i don't know what the hell he was thinking.
but he is retarded so maybe that has something to do with it.
-
Not having a B-25 in a WW2 sim is like not having the Zero in a Pearl Harbor movie.

uh....ooooo..k..:huh
Anywho, I'd take the defensive armament of a B25 H for low attack opps anyday over the A20's speed. Adding in parafrags and skip bombs would just be a bonus. :D

What did Doolittle and his men fly off that carrier?

All of the photos of Dolittle's raid were doctored to hide what they were really flying. The B25 never served in WWII, this is what they were actually flying...

omg i almost died laughing

IIRC, the B-26 was referred to as "the flying prostitute" because the aircraft had such a small wing and therefore high wingloading, the pilots claimed it had "no visible means of support".
Apparently during WWII at least, prostitutes were considered sexy. But you didn't hear that from me. ;)
