What if we could have the option for both plane icon on top & player name underneath..?(For friendlies)

i think pressing alt + I switches icons through the modes one of which is player name for friendlies.

Alt I does switch them, if you keep pressing Alt I you get the following

Normal - Plane type - Enemys only - friendlys only - icons off - Normal


think SirLoin was asking for a 6th choice......

Personally, I think the range counters should be dropped under 2k distance.

Yep..That was what i was suggesting,where it shows plane type & player name at same time.

I agree completely.  At the very least it would nice to be able to turn them off (if only for yourself).  As it is I am forced to choose between range counter or no icons at all.

I'd like to have the icons rendered in proper 3D.

Correct me if I'm wrong HT... but the icons don't appear to be 3D. It plays havoc with my shooting. So that now in a fight I've got the icon dulled to a non-standout colour, or I turn the icon off.

Ya Vulcan, it plays with my eyes too. It tends to draw my aim to it rather than the plane sometimes. What would be nice is a plane 200 away would be brighter than the icon of a plane 2.0 away.
