Anyone know why they took the dive siren out of the Stuka in the game?
I would like it back...it would make it more realistic.

It was the wrong model? I didn't know that. I thought they were on all models. Thanks for info <>

Its been asked a lot. I cant remember what model it was removed from first, but our one isnt ment to have it. More info is under the SEARCH button

I believe someone has it modeled in his sound pack.  Not sure which pack though.

You can add your own pretty easily. Find an appropriate siren sound, edit it so that it's a wav with the correct properties, then name it wind.wav and stick it in a folder named ju87d3 within your sounds folder, and voila! When your stuka goes fast enough, you'll hear it.

I know waffle's sound pack (Now gone) had it. I think I still have my siren sound for the stuka, not sure.

fortunately being a stuka this will NEVER happen in level flight

The sirens were removed from the D-3 versions and later because they no longer had the psychological impact they once had.

i want to hear a siren every time sum1 exceed 250kts below 10k or 200kts within 30nm of HQ
then i can yell "its the fuzz" which cracks me up :rofl :rofl :rofl

In the soundpacks I hear it's enabled, but isn't it triggered only when you drop a bomb?
