Title: Converting AH Films
Post by: Capt.Joe on February 07, 2007, 10:13:49 PM
I just downloaded Windows Movie maker in hopes that i can make some videos for the DHBG, but Move maker dosent support the AH film type (.ah)
Is there anyway to convert .ah's to .avi's or .mpeg's?

Thanks
Capt.

The Aces High film viewer will convert films to AVIs.  Or if you prefer, you can use other capture software like Fraps, or Cam Studio.

The "convert to AVI" function usually just results in a headache... and little material for WMM. Im usually using http://www.fraps.com - its easy to use and produces good quality avis. Theres a free version (with watermark and 30 secs time limit for capturing).

Try a search in the Films and Screenshots forum.... lots of threads on the "how to" of moviemaking.

Schatzi,

I have been using Cam Studio, it's free, no watermarks, easy to use.  A few weeks back I made a film, and I gave the AH film viewer AVI converter a try, it worked quite well.  Maybe it's been tweeked since I last used it?

You can find Cam Studio here:

Check out the video, it walks you through the download through Source Forge, and installation
