Title: Invalid Component 1042
Post by: NHawk on February 08, 2007, 05:33:33 AM
I had just spawned a tiger and fired on a T34 on a base. I had just barely gotten out of the hangar when I fired. I hit, but did not kill the T34.

Second shot killed without a problem.

Now...find that typo :)

Edit: Just prior to that I was behind the hangar in an M16 firing on the T34 and died.

And the message came up in the message area not in an error window. So, it may have happened before and not caught my attention.

Easy one -
Delete the contents of your AH2 cache folder.
Cache will rebuild next time you log on, and the invalid component message will disappear.

:lol No no, somewhere in the game source code, HTC typed in the wrong thing. When whatever that thing is becomes active, it's invalid because of the typo. Hence the message.
