Something he posted in the General forums. Thought it was a fine idea, though not new.

Might not be that hard to do and would make fun changes that players would enjoy. It has been quite a while since we had any new toys. I for one would play with those. :)

Cruisers would be a bit much, imagine 20 (or even just 5) cruisers upping from a port that is under attack in the place of GVs.

DE's would be a bit more convievable. How about replacing the escort destroyers that are attached to fleets with destroyers, and permitting people to individually control escort destroyers.

Agree, any port should be capable of launching 6 destroyers for port defense.

1 guy to steer and another to man guns, ohhh and don't forget the torp tubes!

If we had more boats, we'd some anti-shipping toys... Like, say, a nice B-25 with the various gun packages. :)
